Service Description

As we head towards World Health Day on 7th May, join us for a transformative two-hour workshop on Ayurvedic nutrition, designed to help you align your diet with your unique mind-body constitution, or dosha. Held in the serene setting of our studio, this session will introduce you to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, and how it can support your overall well-being through mindful food choices. You'll begin with a dosha questionnaire, guiding you to understand whether you are primarily Vata, Pitta, or Kapha—or a combination. From there, we'll explore the 6 tastes. Each taste influences Vata, Pitta and Kapha and knowledge of these 6 tastes can inform our choices when the Doshas are out of balance. We will consider which foods and spices best nourish your constitution, and which ones may cause imbalance, offering practical and sustainable dietary adjustments. We will also briefly look at various Yoga asanas (poses) which may help pacify aggravated Doshas – no previous experience necessary! To deepen your experience, we'll enjoy Ayurvedic refreshments crafted to support digestion and inner harmony. This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about Ayurveda, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your diet. Come ready to learn, taste, and transform your relationship with food in a way that supports your body’s natural rhythms! Molly Crowther, from Meadowside Yoga, Ayurveda & Reflexology in Llandaff, trained to be a Hatha Yoga teacher for 2 years at the Om Yoga Studio in Cardiff (run in conjunction with the Ananda Ashram in Pondicherry, India). Molly has been teaching since 2017, setting up her own small studio in 2019 shortly after celebrating her 50th birthday. Molly went onto qualify to teach Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Shred, Menopause Yoga, Ante-Natal and Kids’ Yoga and found the perfect complement to Yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda – she qualified as an Ayurvedic clinician in 2023. Molly has also been offering Reflexology treatments since qualifying in 2001. Please be aware that we are unable to cater for those with gluten or nut allergies within the freshments.

Cancellation Policy

Please arrive around ten minutes before your class is due to start. Access will not be possible until 15 minutes before the class start time in order to allow the previous class time to vacate the studio. We do not allow late access to class as the outside door will be closed to entry just before the class starts to protect peoples belongings in the reception area. Refunds will not be given if you are late and unable to attend the class. Block Booking cancellations can be made via the app with up to 24 hours notice. To cancel a single booking please contact me at least 24 hours in advance or you will not recieve the refund. I'm afraid refunds cannot be guaranteed if 24 hours notice is not given. Please park considerately and be mindful of our neighbours when leaving the studio. Please be respectful to your fellow yogis and teachers and ensure your behaviour does not affect their enjoyment of the class in anyway. This is a strict no shoes studio so please leave your shoes in the storage boxes inside the front door. Small lockers are provided for your valuables. But you might like to leave your bags in your car. We recommend bringing into the studio only what you need for class in order to keep space between the mats nice and clear. Please bring your own mat if you have one, though we do have spares. All props will be provided but you might like to bring your own blanket for savasana. Special events / workshops cancellation: 100% refund if more than one weeks notice given, 50% refund in the event of 1 to 7 days notice given. No refunds issued in the event of cancellation within 24 hours of the event
