And so it begins. Work has started on the inside of my studio. Four weeks later than planned. It's going to be a huge task to be ready this side of Christmas!
Phil and his son have broken through the wall at the end to start the windows. With a thick layer of concrete and breeze blocks to get through and with the two windows measuring 2.5m x 1.5m each, this is going to be a massive back breaking job for them.
This hole has allowed them to bring in the huge 7 foot long beams that will space the ceiling. The walls have been marked too for the radiators, beams and windows so that the stud walls can start to be built creating a nice layer of insulation to keep the studio warm. Once they are in place I will start to get a better feel for the size of the space.
